DESCRIPTION:Presented in partnership with the Defense Alliance of North Carolina\, special guest US Senator Thom Tillis will discuss:\n\n  COVID-19: Steps federal government has taken to assist/support small businesses\, including contractors\n\n  COVID-19: Steps federal government has taken to support all Americans   that benefit businesses\n\n  Federal Contracting Environment: Sustaining business opportunity and meeting federal needs\n\n\n\nFollowing Senator Tillis' remarks\, the North Carolina General Assembly House Select Committee on COVID-19 with Representative John Szoka and Representative Jason Saine will address State actions to support businesses impacted by COVID-19\; General Assembly efforts\, legislation\, policies and programs\, directly and through agencies\, to support businesses (and federal contractors) during this situation.\n\n\n\nAdditionally\, they will address the upcoming session and any legislative priorities relevant to contractors and other businesses. At the end of the session\, the US Small Business Administration will provide an update to programs in place to assist with COVID-19 economic recovery.\n\n\n\nThere will be an open session at the end for Q&A from businesses and other WEBCON participants. The NCMBC will not pre-register participants\; all businesses are welcome Platform. The NCMBC will provide the Zoom infrastructure and "host" the conference.
