School Supply Drive @ Rock the Block — Benefiting Tools4Schools
It's back-to-school season, Zebulon — and that means it's time to show our teachers and students some love! All month long in August, the Zebulon Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with the Zebulon Downtown Development Association and Zebulon Parks and Recreation to support Tools4Schools and the WakeEd Partnership for our annual School Supply Drive.
Tools4Schools is a free store run by the WakeEd Partnership, providing school supplies to public school teachers throughout Wake County — including right here in Zebulon. This drive is our community's chance to make sure our own Zebulon teachers and students feel the direct benefit of every donation given.
Three Easy Ways to Give All Month Long:
- Drop Supplies — Bring most-needed school supplies to the ZDDA tent at Rock the Block on August 14. Our volunteers will be on-site all evening to collect donations!
- Online Donation — Make a monetary donation directly through WakeEd Partnership: wakeed.org/Support
- Amazon Wish List — Shop the Tools4Schools Most Needed Amazon Wish List and have items shipped straight to the Tools4Schools store: View Wish List
Cap off a month of giving back with a night of fun in Downtown Zebulon! Join us Friday, August 14 for Rock the Block, featuring live music from UBU The Band starting at 6:30 PM. Grab a bite from our food trucks, sip something cold from our beer and wine vendors, browse local craft vendors, and catch up with your neighbors — all while supporting a great cause. It's FREE and fun for the whole family!
Don't forget your lawn chairs or picnic blankets, and swing by the ZDDA tent to drop off school supplies, make a donation, or learn more about how Tools4Schools supports our local teachers and students.
