Downtown History Walk is Sept 21
Have you ever wondered how Zebulon became Zebulon?
Come take a leisurely stroll through downtown Zebulon and learn about our town’ early history, formation and settlers. Preservation Zebulon presents an opportunity for the area residents to participate in Zebulon’s popular History Walk. Our Spring Tour is Saturday, Sept 21 at 10 a.m. Tours will include business and residential areas and cover 1.5 miles. Please wear comfortable walking shoes. Tours will not include the insides of any homes or businesses. Tours begin at the corner of W Vance Street and Arendell Avenue by the parking lot of Armando’s Pizza.
Tours start promptly and will be led by Preservation Zebulon members. Suggested donation for the tour is $5 per person, no charge for children under age 12. In case of rain, the walking tour will be held on Sunday Sept 22 at 1 p.m.
