SUMMARY:Ribbon Cutting Celebration for Oak City Customs
DESCRIPTION:Ribbon Cutting Celebration for Oak City Customs \n\n\n\n Tuesday\, June 17\, 2025\n\n 5:00 PM\n\n 501 Mack Todd Rd\, Zebulon\n\n \nJoin the Zebulon Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Glenn York as we celebrate the official Welcome to Zebulon! Oak City Customs as they officially open their brand new 14\,000 square feet showroom\n\n Come tour their incredible 28\,000 square feet facility and see how they turn local trees into beautiful custom furniture and home pieces. You'll get to walk through their woodshop and metal shop\, see their craftsmanship up close\, and visit their new showroom featuring hundreds of wood slabs and finished products.\nOak City Customs specializes in taking trees from right here in our community and surrounding areas and creating everything from custom dining tables to hardwood panels with that perfect rustic-meets-modern look. They've got an impressive setup with their own sawmill that can handle massive 63-inch slabs\, plus kilns that dry thousands of board feet every month.\n\n\n\nWhether you're a contractor\, architect\, or homeowner looking for something special\, they work with everyone. Their specialty is really that From Tree to Table approach - taking urban trees that might otherwise go to waste and turning them into heirloom pieces.\n\n\n\nDuring the tour\, you'll see their huge inventory of local hardwoods like oak\, maple\, cherry\, and walnut\, plus get to meet the craftspeople behind all the beautiful work.\n\n\n\n Light refreshments will be provided.\n\n\n\nEveryone's welcome - business owners\, neighbors\, anyone who appreciates good craftsmanship and supporting local business. Come see what makes Oak City Customs special and help us welcome them to the community!
