Why Tools4Schools Matters
Research shows that Wake County teachers spend an average of $926 out of their own pockets each year on classroom supplies. Since its opening in January 2022, Tools4Schools, through the WakeEd Partnership, has donated over $1 MILLION in new classroom supplies to WCPSS teachers. The impact has been profound:
Over 8,000 teachers shopped for free supplies from each of Wake County Public Schools, including Zebulon-based schools.
98% of teachers report a reduction in their out-of-pocket expenses due to Tools4Schools.
