🚀 Introducing LaunchZebulon: Empowering Small Businesses in Zebulon!🚀
 
We’re excited to announce LaunchZebulon, a dynamic new partnership among the Zebulon Chamber of Commerce, The Town of Zebulon Economic Development Department, and Wake Tech’s Entrepreneurship and Small Business Center. This initiative is designed to uplift and empower entrepreneurs and small businesses in under-resourced communities across Wake County.
 
What is LaunchZebulon?
LaunchZebulon is part of the broader LaunchWakeCounty program, where Chambers of Commerce, Rotary Clubs, and Towns across Wake County collaborate with Wake Tech to provide robust support for established or aspiring entrepreneurs. By fostering homegrown, Main Street businesses, we aim to strengthen the small-business ecosystem throughout the region.
 
Program Highlights
Participants in this no-fee program are selected through a competitive application and review process. The program includes:
- 📚 A 10-week training class that meets once a week for three hours.
- 🤝 Hands-on mentoring to guide your business journey.
- 🌐 Peer and community networking to build valuable connections.
- 💸 Assistance locating non-traditional sources of capital.
 
Eligibility Requirements
To participate in LaunchZebulon, applicants must:
  • Own or plan to start a business in Zebulon.
  • Provide products or services that can generate a profit.
  • Successfully undergo an interview by the selection committee.
  • Commit to weekly business training for 10 weeks running September 19, 2024, through November 21, 2024
  • Develop a comprehensive business plan and budget.
  • Be willing to regularly meet and communicate with an assigned business mentor.
