Zebulon Chamber of Commerce Launches Business Advisory Board to Strengthen Local Partnerships

Two Interest Meetings Set for Late August; Board Will Help Shape October's Connect Zebulon Forum

ZEBULON, N.C. — The Zebulon Chamber of Commerce today announced the formation of a new Business Advisory Board, an initiative of the Chamber's Government Relations and Economic Development Committee created to strengthen the connection between local businesses, town government, and community stakeholders.

The Business Advisory Board will serve as a trusted connector among the business community, local government, and other stakeholders — providing insight, identifying business needs, and helping shape initiatives that support a healthy, thriving business ecosystem in Zebulon. The Board will also serve a practical role: preparing the agenda for the Chamber's quarterly Connect Zebulon sessions.


Building on Connect Zebulon's Successful Launch

Connect Zebulon, co-hosted by Zebulon Chamber with the Town of Zebulon, is designed to give business owners, community partners, and residents meaningful access to both Town and Chamber leadership. The initiative held its inaugural session on June 16, 2026, drawing more than 40 business and civic leaders for an evening of connection, department updates, and collaborative conversation.

Building on that momentum, the next Connect Zebulon forum is scheduled for Thursday, October 1, 2026. The newly formed Business Advisory Board will play a direct role in shaping this session, with Board meetings held in advance to help build the October forum's agenda and ensure it reflects the real priorities of Zebulon's business community.

At each Connect Zebulon session, participants can:

- Meet Town officials, department staff, and Chamber leadership
- Hear department highlights from select Town departments and the Chamber
- Network with local small businesses and service providers
- Learn how businesses, the Town, and the Chamber can collaborate and support one another
